CONTEXT

Founded in 2020, People for AI is the CEO’s second venture in the field of Artificial Intelligence (École Polytechnique class of 2001).
The company specializes in manual data annotation, used to train AI algorithms (Computer Vision, NLP, Speech Recognition). This brings People for AI into continual contact with a wide range of AI domains.
Clients range from start-ups to major CAC 40 corporations, working on AI for autonomous vehicles, smart microscopy, foodtech, drones, satellite imagery, medical diagnostics, law, and more.

Our company size is 100-110 employees, 6 employees in France (mainly management) and 100 employees in the annotation offices in Madagascar (annotators and management).

The objective of this position is to boost People for AI’s online presence and branding.

MISSIONS

Communication / Writing / Press:

• Manage the editorial calendar on social networks
  • Communicate about partnerships with associations
  • Communicate about our CSR initiatives
  • Promote pro-bono work, free trials, and competitions
  • Publish posts on artificial intelligence (AI news, scientific articles, companies to discover)
• Write short blog posts
• Write guest articles for close partners or clients
• Marketing: Prepare a project completion survey to send to all former clients to launch a first marketing study (with the current marketing manager)
• Press: Create a press kit and seek local press coverage in Madagascar (or France) during the internship

IDEAL PROFILE

• You are currently studying for, or already hold, a qualification relevant to the position, OR you have previous experience relevant to the role.
• You are interested in developing new technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, etc. (experience in digital/tech is a plus).
• You enjoy a wide variety of projects and tasks in a young company.
• You have professional-level English skills (minimum level B2/C1).
• You write French at a level above average.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

• Duration: 8 weeks to 6 months, depending on profile.
• Compensation based on skills and motivation (in practice, over 90% of interns receive compensation)
• 100% remote (an in-person meeting in Paris may be organized during your internship)
